This was an experiment that I didn’t really know where I was going with… and I’m not too sure where I’ve ended up either! After seeing a photo on Y.X.L’s photostream, I thought I’d have a go at something myself. I used a CD, water, a PC monitor reflecting the Flickr logo on to the CD, and a white LED. This isn’t the sort of thing I do normally, and it could have been done much better. The big problem was getting the focus right, and I didn’t succeed in that. The Flickr logo was effectively twice as far away as the CD, and the CD itself has layers of reflective surfaces. Despite all that, here it is anyway :)
